Hugh Donaldson-Hudson, generally known as Hugh Hudson, was the son of Michael Donaldson-Hudson and Jacynth Mary Ellerton. He was an English film director. He is known for directing the 1981 Academy Award and BAFTA Award Best Picture Chariots of Fire, after beginning his career making documentaries and television commercials.
