Jesse Beryle Hahn was an American actor. He spent the majority of his career as a popular character actor in French cinema, typically playing physically imposing roles, gangsters, or military men. He also played the lead character in the French New Wave film Le Signe du Lion (1962), directed by Éric Rohmer.
