Biography
Age 99Serge Baudo is a distinguished French conductor who served as music director of the Orchestre National de Lyon for over fifteen years and founded the Berlioz Festival in 1979. The son of oboist Etienne Baudo and nephew of cellist Paul Tortelier, he conducted world premieres of works by Darius Milhaud and Jean-Yves Daniel-Lesur. His screen credits have placed him alongside 1,471 performers, 625 of whom remain with us today.
